Short note on t-test

A t-test is used to compare the mean scores obtained by two groups on a single variable. The critical ratio test of the t-test is used for the two-sample difference of means. Here it is applied to determine the differences between means of two scores obtained from the one group based on the two variables. It is very useful when the population's variance is not known and when the sample size is small. The formula for estimating the ratio following the ANOVA test is -
